Paul is a principal and also manages OMNNI’s in-house, AASHTO-accredited materials testing laboratory. He has more than 32 years of experience as an engineering technician, construction inspector, project manager and department manager. He is also a licensed professional geologist in Wisconsin. Paul’s responsibilities include managing field and laboratory testing and inspection of soils, aggregates concrete mix and hot mix asphalt paving mixes in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO and Wisconsin DOT procedures. He also has considerable experience with conducting geotechnical field services, aggregate quality testing and concrete and hot mix asphalt mix designs.
Recently Paul directed the soil and water sampling and testing during the investigation phases of the I-43, Leo Frigo Bridge project in Green Bay. The project gained national attention when the bridge was closed after one of its piers sank about two feet overnight, putting the overlying deck spans in jeopardy of collapse. He also directed quality verification testing, materials sampling and materials documentation during the construction phase of the project. email
