As the lead civil engineer, OMNNI was part of an outstanding team of architects, engineers and builders tasked to design and construct the new 300,000 sq. ft., $90 million SECURA Insurance corporate headquarters. The initial construction includes 1,000 parking stalls, ponds, outdoor amenities, trails and a new roundabout. Our comprehensive project services included surveying, wetland delineation, floodplain delineation, site/civil engineering, utility design, permitting, traffic impact analysis and highway engineering.
The project began with the identification of a 24” high pressure gas main running through the property. Our early identification allowed the contractor and owner to plan and budget for its relocation without impacting the overall project timeline. With the gas main relocated, the building could be placed in the optimum location along the stream and wetlands within the 80-acre property creating outstanding views from nearly every office in the new building. Roundabout construction is slated for the summer of 2018 with final project completion scheduled for 2019.
